AI Meets the Brain

Zander Labs on stage

This session at AI House Amsterdam explores the rapidly emerging field where artificial intelligence and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) converge. Advances in non-invasive neural sensing now make it possible to capture real-time signals related to attention, cognitive load, and intent. When combined with modern AI systems, these signals can be used to build technologies that adapt dynamically to human mental states, opening new possibilities for training, decision support, healthcare, productivity tools, and human-machine collaboration.

Speakers

Jonathan Zwaan, CEO Zander Labs

Prof Maryam Alimardini, Associate Professor in the domains of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and human-robot interaction (HRI).

Monique van Dusseldorp is a curator/moderator of tech events and part of the AI House team.

Our non-invasive, scalable BCI infrastructure provides access to human cognitive states and enables industries to build AI systems with higher levels of autonomy and hyperpersonalization.

Cognitive labels for AI

We accelerate and improve AI data training on human experiences, using cognitive insights as a new modality for better understanding of ambiguous and complex scenarios.

Hyperpersonalization

We enable AI systems to adapt to each person's attention, load, and engagement using real-time cognitive signals, moving beyond behavioral data to true intent - in the moment that matters.

Human-AI alignment

We build the infrastructure that sets the foundation for ethical, human-first AI, giving AI the nuance to interpret experiences as they actually are: dynamic, context-dependent, and evolving.

Let’s empower your innovation

Together, we'll turn your ideas into an impactful reality.
